Plantae, the plant kingdom, is a very diverse group of organisms. With all this diversity, what is it that sets them apart from other groups, and yet have so much in common? The following are the main qualifications.
1) they are multicellular.
2) most contain cellulose in their structure.
3) they perform photosynthesis for energy and growth.
Plantae of the Park are made up of 10 major taxa called divisions (similar to phyla in the animal kingdom). The following are the divisions of plants found in the Park.
